WHAT IS STEM? AND WHY?

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Teaching STEM in the early years enables children to make those vital connections between everyday life and the STEM disciplines. It also lays down the foundations for future academic success because the skills learned are transferable to other subjects.

WHAT DO WE DO?

  • We create activities to stimulate and encourage students’ curiosity, critical thinking and logistics abilities through engaging in science, technology, engineering and math.
  • We deliver the STEM approach through exploration and experiments to build curiosity about the natural world and how things work.
  • Through project-based and inquiry-driven activities, the children can explore and discover the world around them. It also increases the abilities to create and discuss scientific relationships.
  • We offer ample time each day for hands-on coding learning using SCREEN-FREE ROBOT in small group activities and experiments.

EARLY CODING EDUCATION

  • Early coding or precoding offers children experiences that integrate communication, critical thinking, logistic and problem-solving skills. These are 21st-century skills that are valuable for children’s future success in our digital world.
  • We introduce coding concepts through a variety of SCREEN-FREE ROBOT. It doesn't involve computer programming at all but preferably hands-on games and activities where children develop ideas like sequencing and recognizing patterns.
  • Offer playful interactive SCREEN-FREE ROBOT to foster preschooler’s logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • The earlier children explore the basics of coding, the more quickly they learn, understand, and apply coding later in their life. Many preschoolers are just the right age to begin learning!
